One of the top players in the brick-and-mortar furniture retail industry was seeking to restrategize its digital initiatives as the industry was becoming more fragmented. With the fast-growing trend of online furniture sales, the client was seeking to widen their customer base digitally.
THE CHALLENGE
The client brought in El Toro to assist in optimizing their digital strategy because of our unique ability to measure ad effectiveness. The client wanted to focus on three states and two target audiences: neighbors of their current customers and households that had recently moved as they both might need or want furniture.
THE EL TORO SOLUTION
With El Toro’s patented IP Targeting technology and the client’s CRM list, we used our Digital Canvassing product to target the neighbors of their current customers. We also used our Digital New Movers product to target potential customers who had recently moved into any of the three states within the last 90 days. This allowed us to rapidly generate one million eligible households to target per month. Then using our game-changing MatchBack Analysis, we were able to provide an in-depth report comparing ads served and actual sales. This allowed for speedy revisions throughout the campaigns to optimize ad spending. The huge success from the campaigns has led them to become a long-term El Toro client.
