Is Google Fiber Coming to Louisville?

El Toro's CEO Stacy Griggs discussed the importance of Google Fiber coming to Louisville, Kentucky with the Metro Council on Thursday, February 11, 2016. Wave 3 News reported on Stacy Griggs discussion, quoting him saying that "I want to see businesses locate here. We've got advantages with low cost of labor, low cost of housing, low cost of office real estate, but Fiber is definitely something that's a disadvantage for Louisville right now."

The Commonwealth of Kentucky ranks 50th out of 50 for internet speed in the United States, and is in dire need of faster internet connection in order for the tech industry of Louisville to grow.
