We are looking for a talented Web Developer & Designer, with an amplified understanding of SEO, to create amazing user experiences and fantastic content. El Toro has a great story and we’re looking for someone to help us excel in sharing that. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. They should also have good writing skills. The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. They will be able to transform concepts into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs.

Design & Development Responsibilities & Qualifications:
● Conceptualize website design ideas that bring simplicity & user friendliness to complex products
● Develop ideas for content and turn them into intriguing web pages
● Create wireframes, storyboards, process flows and sitemaps to communicate interaction & designs
● Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executives
● Build materials for client proposals and presentations

Requirements
● 2+ years of proven work experience as a web designer
● Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
● Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, &n process flows
● Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wireframing tools
● Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, WordPress and JavaScript
● Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
● Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
● Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and best practices

SEO Responsibilities & Qualifications
● Reviewing and analyzing client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized
● Compile and present web analytics data and unique hits to make recommendations
● Preparing detailed strategy reports
● Source keywords for blogs, press releases, social status updates, and campaign needs
● Filling websites and other content with effective keywords
● Work with writer to produce effective SEO content for blogs, websites and social media accounts
● Analyzing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors
● Keeping updated on both white hat & black hat SEO strategies
● Compiling and presenting SEO guidelines

Requirements
● Two years previous experience in SEO, marketing, or related field
● In-depth understanding of Google Analytics and other SEO services, online tracking tools, webmaster tools, back-end SEO, and metadata
● Basic understanding of Google schema
● Basic understanding of on-page optimization & off-page optimization
● Understanding of link building basics
● Experience in cultivating SEO keywords and phrases to drive web traffic
● Working knowledge of search engine optimization practices
● Excellent verbal and written communication skill
● Ability to work within a team and independently
